Leading the way in alternative dispute resolution.
When the topics of mediation and arbitration arise, one Iowa lawyer comes to mind: Dale Peddicord. For nearly 50 years, Dale has been a leader in alternative
dispute resolution (ADR) in the state of Iowa. Over the years, this practice has grown exponentially to help potential litigants and parties resolve
their differences outside of the courthouse.
Dale is a Board Certified Mediator, serving in a wide array of matters from high stakes class action lawsuits involving national corporations, commercial claims, professional negligence matters and motor vehicle accidents to workers' compensation actions and product liability disputes. He has mediated more than 600 cases with a 97% success rate.
For the past 40 years, Dale has been a certified arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). He is an expert in adjudicating matters under the AAA governing rules, Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and has served on arbitration panels in more than 200 cases on behalf of the AAA.
Not only do Peddicord Wharton attorneys look to Dale Peddicord's ADR expertise, so do peers from outside law firms. Dale assists in evaluating the potential for use of mediation or arbitration and other forms of ADR in lieu of litigation. He also helps select mediators or arbitrators for their client's specific case needs and for the successful representation of clients before ADR tribunals.
